How to : Wear layers like a pro

Many women are afraid to layer their clothes for fear of looking bigger than they actually are. While logic would lead one to believe that this claim is true, if you’ve mastered the art of layering this couldn’t be further from the truth. A perfectly layered look will compliment your curves and create the illusion of a more proportional silhouette.

Steps to a Perfectly Layered Outfit

1. Start with a basic, lightweight top or a dress. I suggest a solid, something neutral, or striped.

2.Then add a Blazer, jacket or coat. Again, I suggest a basic color: camel, black, navy, or even olive green or sumtng which has a bright prints in it so u can pair it up with your bold color top or a dress.
3.Sprinkle on your accessories (chain, bracelets, rings, watches).
4.pair your outfit with a white sneaker, Oxford shoes or a heels.

Quick Layering Tips
1. Keep the under-layers more fitted to keep your shape looking slim, preferably choose a thick fabric.
2.If you’re concerned about your waistline, try to top off your look with something belted.
3.Length and proportion is key when layering.
4.Play with texture. It’s best to incorporate a mix of materials when styling a layered look. If you use all of the same fabrics, you’re look will come off as heavy and dowdy (which can add the appearance of unwanted weight as well).

Bold Ruffle

Lately, I can’t get enough of a dramatic sleeve. Statement sleeves have been the major in past season and I, for one, am totally on board. Gimme all the sweaters, tops, and dresses with a ruffle or bell sleeve. I MEAN… you know that I’m a sucker for a ruffle just IN GENERAL. Ruffles are all the yes to me. So when I spotted this RED Lace Ruffle Top, it clearly had to be mine.
I just love the color and I especially love pairing it with black high waist.

When I got this ruffle top, I had a VISION of the outfit I wanted to make it into. (Does that only happen to me?? LOL!) And my silver stilettos They’re very comfortable. I am kind of loving this move towards a more comfortable shoe, aren’t you?? I can actually WALK PLACES IN MY SHOES it is a miracle.

Packaging: This shower gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a black push cap. The actual shower gel comes in a beautiful lavender color, brimming to the neck of the bottle. As it holds 300 ml of product, the bottle seems to be bulky and heavy, making it not so travel friendly. However, the packaging is sturdy and leak-proof. It is quite an ordinary packaging, nothing fancy or appealing.

Texture: The texture of this shower gel is thick and runny. Only a little amount of product is needed. Therefore, this bottle is going to last for longer. The actual shower gel comes in a translucent pale lavender color. It lathers up very well with or without a loofah. As the shower gel is thick, using a loofah was not harsh on the skin.

Fragrance: This shower gel has a mild, calming lavender scent to it, which is so soothing. Unfortunately, when you start to lather the product, you get only soapy smell. I can hardly smell lavender then on. Such a disappointing factor indeed! Moreover, the fragrance does not last long as well.

One of the best online shopping site for beauty products ‘Nykaa’  launched their own in-house products through their nail paints and lipsticks. They were known for their good quality, affordable price range and have been raved among many bloggers. They introduced a new eyeliner which is called the Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner and after hearing about that on their instagram page, I couldn’t resist so immediately ordered one. So now after using it for a couple of months and i’m totally in love with the product so i ordered another one because my previous one is about to get over,  here I am with a review of it.

What’s great about this product is its melt, crack and run resistant properties. The eyeliner itself is in a long black conical shaped tube with the bottom part containing the liner liquid and the top part has the applicator attached. The eyeliner comes in only one shade 01 Super Black and is written at the bottom of the tube. The tube is slightly bulky for a liquid liner but the cap seals in properly and is spill proof making it travel friendly. The outer casing of the tube has a soft matte finish which gives good grip to hold.

Pros:

• Very affordable.
• Fine Tip Brush Applicator.
• Smudgeproof formula.
• Water-resistant and Long lasting.
• Removal is easy with lukewarm water.
• No parabens.

Cons:

• None as such.

Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner is very much affordable. However, its currently available in just one shade and that’s  ‘Super Black 01’. I wish they would come up with more shades soon.

My Mini Polka Dress

Happy Monday!

We’re starting off the week with patterns and pop.  Black and white is such a bold color scheme, full of contrast and oh-so-crisp.  It is a classic combo that can stand on its own or can easily mingle with softer hues.  While we often see black and white paired with pinks and corals, so my mini polka dots dress is a combination of bold black and white.

I have paired my polka dots skirt with a plain black top which has a small bow on it, with a black choker and a black and white shades.

Perfect outfit for a beach out or a sunny day.
